About Sarah Keates

Sarah started her career at the British Council, where she was responsible for redesigning its services for boarding schools. Sitting within the SIEM (services for international education marketing) team, Sarah and her team developed and implemented a set of services to enable schools to market internationally more efficiently and effectively. After six years at the British Council, Sarah joined a large multinational public relations firm in Hong Kong, before moving in-house at a well-known group of UK schools, where she increased the brand’s market share over 90% in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and in emerging markets, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Sarah now owns and operates WOI, a Hong Kong based marketing and PR agency with a set of services specifically tailored to schools.
